This is the day I'm going to really start pushing myself. I'm going to build more muscle and really kick ass out there! I'm not messing around anymore. I figured out a lot of things today. One, I really screwed up on this Fyrescape Blog. Lately it's turned more into a daily journal than a fitness blog that just tracks my daily activities so I can monitor myself and keep track of what I do. No More! From now on, I'm only going to be putting what I'm going as far as fitness goes! I am really going to get serious about this. So I looked back on all my blogs and got this list down:
September 20, 2014 checked my weight after Chama Elk Hunt. Weight was 317.
January 19, 2015 checked my weight and I gained 17 lbs since September. Weight was 334.
January 20, 2015 started exercising hard again after realizing my walks weren't very tough
February 7, 2015 started drinking a gallon of water daily.
February 28, 2015 checked my weight and I gained 4 lbs since Jan 19. Weight was 338.
As of March 1, 2015 been at walking a strong 3 miles and occasional weightlifting for 6 weeks.
March 1, 2015 marks the 23rd day of drinking a gallon of water per day.
Now sometime around October 22, give or take a few days, I checked my weight and I weighed 324. I put on seven pounds. I got pretty freaked out, but I didn't give up. I just kept at it. Plus during that time I was really focused on doing things at the church. My Hallowed Eve 7 as well as the Christmas float and the Christmas Program. So I was really distracted, then came the turmoil with my family and my sister. That really threw me off my game. So from now on I'm going to monitor myself and ONLY put the things I'm going in these blogs. Now I don't know what kind of weight I put on, I really don't, but I know for sure that I did not gain any inches. My clothes fit me just like they did last September. I'm wearing clothes that I couldn't fit into for years and years. Nothing has changed as far as inches. That is certain because I checked it all yesterday when I freaked out. I'm going to start building muscle from now on.
Ok today I did not walk. Why? Because it snowed all day yesterday, then all night, but then it stopped and this morning, it was really slushy and muddy all over. After yesterday I wasn't about to go out there and slip around. I'd be walking to slow anyway to keep from slipping so I wouldn't get much out of it. This evening though, I did a hardcore workout! I did DDP yoga. I did 40 crunches and I'm up to 8 leg lifts. That really kicked my butt. After that, I did 5 push ups. I'm training myself to do push ups. By the years' end, I want to be able to do 100 pushups. I'm not messing around! After that, I did my dumbbell workout. I have a 30 pound dumbbell and I did 10 curls with each arm and 10 back curls where I lift with both my hands behind my head. and I did 10 standing lifts with each arm. Afterwards, I rode my exercise bike for a few minutes. I wanted to try and do 10 minutes, but I was so burnt out by now that I couldn't do more than just 3 minutes. Right now, I'm completely winded and my arms are super tired, but I feel great! That DDP yoga workout was killer. I was really breakin a sweat with it. Tomorrow I'm going to do 3 miles, but I'm going to add more to it. I'm also going to start training myself to run. My knee is feeling pretty strong so I know I'm able to do 6 miles again. I just haven't because I got too used to just doing 3. I'm going to work back up to six miles every day, but this time I'm going to do it differently and mix it up. I'm going to power walk 3 miles, add some running in there, then I'm going to train myself to run the next 3 miles. I'll start off with just an extra mile, 4 total, then work my way up to 5, then 6 finally. I have a pretty good plan. Also tomorrow I'm going to do the exact same workout I just did this evening. That is going to become a daily thing. This month and next month until April 28, which marks my One Year of Fyrescape!
