Day Three Hundred Ten - Overkill Day Four

Four days straight now! I am really sore today. My legs, everything. I got out there early today and did my 3 miles. Lots of ppl down at the ditch where I walk, but I still did my full walk and I added lots of running in there once again. Not as much running as yesterday, but still added some. When I got back, my legs were so sore. I could not do my weights workout or the jump ropes. I was way too tired for that. Came home and I stretched out my legs really good. That's one thing I'm not doing before my walks, is stretching. I need to start doing that. I stretched out really good, then had breakfast.

I did things different today. I wanted to challenge my body so I'm not going to stick with one pattern each day to where my body gets used to it. The fitness guides I've read say to mix it up so your body doesn't get centered on one thing. This was my plan from this morning, so I called off my outdoor weights workout. About midday, after my stomach settled from breakfast and I had my energy full, I did a Bowflex workout in my weight room. That workout consisted of (I don't know the exact names) but pull downs, bench presses, leg lifting, lower back lifts. I'll get the exact names as I go along. After that, I did 20 Ab lounge crunches. Those are really good, like situps. I haven't been doing situps but I'm going to work that in over time. Afterwards, I did 15 minutes on the exercise bike. By the time I was done, I was pouring with sweat but kept myself hydrated. It was an intense workout.

This evening I did my usual workout consisting of DDP yoga (Diamond Dozen), 40 ab crunches, 10 cross leglifts, 5 pushups because I was too tired to do more, and my dumbbell workout. Really super tired. One thing I am concerned about is whether I'm not eating enough for this kind of working out. This morning I did my 3 miles and didn't have any food in me, which is normal. I usually only have a cup of water then I'll eat about 3 or 4 crackers and head out. I ate my breakfast, which gave me tons of energy for my midday workout, but my evening workout was before I ate dinner and that really burnt me out. I'm going to try and keep myself energized throughout the day. I need to eat small portions of something so I can keep up my energy. I had an orange today after my midday workout. I want to add more fruits to my diet. That's also my goal. This evening, my workout was really tough and right now, my body feels amazing, but really tired.
