Day Three Hundred Fourteen - REST DAY

A much needed Rest today! I took it easy most the day. My arms were tired all day, as were my legs. I don't want to push myself constantly. I always need to add a rest day in there. I talked to a woman on instagram about fitness and we compared our stories. She is pretty fit and said that her husband is her inspiration for keeping in shape. I told her my workout routine now and she said I was very dedicated, doing all of this everyday like I have been. She said that she works out at least 3 times per week, that's it. Well for me, I don't know, after this weight gain I experienced, I'm just really scared and paranoid. I keep thinking that nothing is helping and that I'm putting all the weight I lost, back on. I know it's crazy to think that, but it's really been bugging me lately. I need to stop letting this get to me and just keep up with my workouts. I decided yesterday that my 3 miles in the morning is now just my warm up. The real workout is when I get home, and in the evenings. That's when I'm really going to be killing it! Also my morning 3 miles is to help train myself to get back in to running full-time! I really want that. So I'm going to be training myself to run, as well as warming up for my daily exercise workouts. That should DEFINITELY get me back to losing weight and gaining muscle, all in all getting healthy, which is the goal of Fyrescape!

Finished my gallon of water today! My rest days aren't going to interfere with that goal. I'm going to stick with a gallon of water everyday, no matter what! It's really helped me with my diet and with my liquid intake. I'm mostly just drinking water now, all day long. Never anything else. In the evenings I'll have a few sips of diet coke just to get my taste buds a lil go. Drinking water all day, you really crave something, anything even remotely sweet to break the plain. Anyway, that was my rest day. Went to a new church today. Ideal Baptist Church and listened to our old pastor, Rev. H.R Fleetwood. It was a great sermon. We haven't been to church since leaving our old one. I just thought I'd mention that in my blog. It was part of my rest day! I think all my rest days are going to be on Sunday, that was I can attend church and not have to worry about my workouts. Next Sunday we're planning on going back to Ideal Baptist again. The ppl there were so welcoming and it was really great to see Pastor Fleetwood. He was our Pastor over at First Indian for 10 years and 5 months. Both Lisa and I missed him very much! Lookin forward to next week. Well, back at Fyrescape Overkill tomorrow. It's gonna be a tough week for sure, but I'm going to stick to it!
