Day One Hundred Twenty Three

Woke up early and did my last 6 miles for the week.  Dang, I almost did not do the entire six.  I did three, then I waited on Lisa.  We almost didn't finish out the walk, but considering that I'm going to be gone for the next 3 days, I really need to get my walks in and finished up.  So I dragged her outside and we did that second walk.  It was late in the morning, but we still finished it.  That was Awesome and I'm very happy we did that!

The rest of the day was super busy!  We had to go pay bills.  Ugh, the dreaded paying bills day.  That really worked out well for us though.  Had to do what I had to do, but it was ok.  We got everything paid and secured until next month.  We also went to see a movie, 'Ghostbusters' :D  I can't believe they re-released that movie.  Lisa and I actually watched Ghostbusters together in the theaters.  I never even seen in in theaters when it first came out because I was only 3 years old.  I might have watched it with my parents, but I don't remember.  I was also 3 years old when 'Return of the Jedi' came out and I remember watching that one in theaters, as well as E.T.  But Ghostbusters, I don't remember watching it.  Anyway, Lisa wasn't even born yet when it first came out.  It was just a memorable experience to watch that movie in theaters, on the big screen :D  Very cool!

We did some more running around throughout the rest of the day including our laundry.  Had to get that done because we're leaving tomorrow for camping.
This evening was super fun because I took Lisa to the casino and we ate at the restaurant there called the Cedar Bow.  I gotta say, it was really really nice!  We both loved it in there.  Lots of ppl there though, especially in the casino.  When we arrived in the parking lot, we parked quite a bit a ways from the entrance.  This dude who drives the casino bus pulled up behind me as soon as I got out of my truck.  He asked if we wanted a ride to the front doors and I said, Heck ya!  So Lees and I jumped in and he took us all the way to the front entrance.  It was so cool, we felt like V.I.P ;)  I loved that!
The food at the casino was excellent!  We both had sandwiches.  Mine was a steak sandwich and Lisa had a shrimp sandwich.  Very good!  Afterwards, I played a bit on the machines.  I only stayed about an hour though because we needed to head to do some more things before the day was over.  It was a fun time and Lisa even did some studying on her school work while we were there.

After the casino, we headed home.  We got some stuff together, then we headed up to walmart to buy some things for home and our camping trip.  After getting everything we needed, we headed to the church so Lisa could do some work.  Finally, we came home and ate a late supper.  We packed up and now we're all ready for tomorrow :)  I can't wait to head out there to Colorado tomorrow.  I'll be driving Lisa, my grandpa and grandma out there in the morning.  We're heading out to the Bruce Spruce Ranch in Pagosa Springs, Colorado for my grandpa's birthday trip.  We'll be staying in some cabins we rented.  Supposed to be a really nice place!  I went there when I was a little boy and my sister was a baby.  I remember it slightly, but not very much.  Maybe it'll jog some memories when I see everything.  Anyway, that's where I'll be the next 3 days.  We'll be back on Monday, but probably not until late in the day.

Well, that was my crazy busy and tiring day!  Fun and Work ;)  Now, time for some beauty sleep.  Hope to have some great dreams about a beautiful woman tonight.  Goodnight!

Day One Hundred Twenty Two

Woke up early this morning and did my 6 miles!  I'm very proud that I finished that up today.  Now I have one more day to really hit it strong before the big camping trip we've got this weekend.  Then after that, I've got only two weeks before my Elk Hunt begins and that'll last for an entire week.  Lots to do and gotta get in good shape because up there in Chama, NM, those slopes are pretty steep!  You got to practically walk vertical up and down.  My knees, I sure hope they can take it.  I'm in pretty good shape as far as walking goes, but my knees do tend to give me a problem here and there.

The rest of the day was Awesome!  Lisa and I hung out, as we always do.  She had to work today though :(  She was off the past two days, then she works today, then tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, she'll be off.  Yay!!

This evening, my family held a birthday dinner for my grandpa down at his house.  Omgosh the food!!!!!  I couldn't resist.  Meatloaf, my favorite!  Grandma knows that too and they just torcher me with that lol.  It's ok though.  I wasn't rude.  I ate my share, then afterward, Grandma packs me a huge dinner plate for Lisa and I later on.  It was good!  When she got home, we had that as a late snack.  Gotta walk it all off tomorrow, that's for sure.  My grandpa's birthday isn't until Monday, but since he'll be gone all weekend with us, they wanted to celebrate with him early.  It was a great night!

Well that was my day.  I'm feeling good, especially my body.  I just gotta keep up this exercising daily.  It's not just something that's gonna last one year, this is something I'm going to be doing the rest of my life.  So get used to it ;)  Goodnight!

Day One Hundred Twenty One

Today, I was determined to finish my entire 6 miles so I woke up at 5:45am.  I got ready, then I headed out there!  I took Cody and Cooper with me.  I finished strong.  After my 3 miles, I brought Cooper home and tied him up, and I only took Cody with me to finish out my 6 miles.  I also took my elk call and practiced on my walk.  I kept a really swift pace today and I even added some running in there!  I am so proud of how much I can run now.  I told Lisa about it after finishing up my 6 miles.  I told her that I could jog a very long distance and how before I couldn't go very far before running out of breath.  I'm so happy about how far I've come on this Fyrescape of mine.  I'm nowhere near done either.  I've got a long long way to go but I know I'll get there.

Cody was such a good dog today, but even if he was bad, I was not going to get mad at him.  Luckily, I didn't see that ShyGuy down at the ditch today.  I was very glad of that!  I did not want to run into him, or his dogs.  Just me and Cody.  We had a good walk.  I did my elk call all the way down.  That always drives Cody crazy for some reason.  He either hates it, or he thinks something is hurting me so he goes nuts and starts barking and howling hahaha.  It's funny!

I finally caught up on my blogs today.  Lees and I are going to head to the church later and do some things.  I wanted to start up my DDPyoga again today, but my legs are really burnt out from the walk this morning.  My knees are tired and my legs are just weak.  I can't wait until tomorrow.  I'm going to do some more running and see where I am there.  I've also noticed today that my waist is getting much smaller.  I began measuring it by using my towel.  Before, my town couldn't wrap around my waist.  There must've been like a 5 inch gap from end to end when I tried wrapping it around my stomach.  Now guess what?!!!  It touches WOOOHOOO!!!!!  Both ends of the towel can touch now when wrapped around my stomach.  That is total hardcore progress there!!!  I'm so happy and proud.

You know, one thing I do Every morning is pray.  I pray to God.  That has really helped me in my life.  You have no idea the power of prayer until you do it.  I urge everyone to pray.  God will truly bless you if you believe in Him, keep Him in your everyday life and pray to Him always.  Trust me, it really does work.

I'm going to relax the rest of the day!  I need to practice my bow shooting tonight.  It's been raining like crazy the past 2 days and that rain is making it pretty cool outside.  I can feel the fall season right around the corner.  Summer is coming to a close.  Ok, that's all for now.  Have an Awesome Day!  Be safe ;}

Day One Hundred Twenty

Woke up kinda early this morning, but I didn't get out there to walk right away.  Took me a while lol.  I went out and did 3 miles.  Yesterday I mentioned that I was gonna wear my hunting boots to break'em in on my walk....omgosh big mistake there!  I needed to wear those long, tall socks that come up to your calves.  Well, I didn't have any of those so I wore my short socks and that totally killed my feet!!  The back of my boots were seriously rubbing into my ankles and now they're all raw and they hurt something awful!  So after completing my 3 miles, I went home and changed my shoes.  They felt so better after that!  I attempted to do my 6 miles, but on my 4th mile, my dogs started misbehaving.  This dude, whom I get tired of running into down by the ditch, brought his dogs as usual.  This guy don't go down there to exercise!  He looks to be just killing time because he don't have anything better to do.  He just goes down there and wanders around everywhere until it's time to go home, I guess.  When I did three miles in the morning and three miles in the evening, I would run into him both times down there with his dogs.  He's not exercising.  He's just down there to be down there.  Honestly, I think the dude needs to get a life!  He needs to go out and get a job, find a woman and start a family.  Do something!  I go down there to exercise and get healthy, that's the Only reason I'm down there.  Him, he's just don't have anything better to do!  Ugh anyway, yeah I was mad this morning.  His dog came running over the hill and freaked my dogs out so they almost attacked his dog.  Lees and I had a heck of a time trying to pull back Cody.  I got so mad, mainly at that dude for always being down there and disrupting my walk, here I ended up taking it out on Cody.  I got so mad at him...oh man I feel so bad.  Cody was acting naughty all the way home and that anger from earlier just lingered inside me until we got home, then Cody started chasing my cats and I lost it.  I hurt him pretty bad.  I hurt his foot and he was crying for a bit.  I felt so so so so so so so shitty and eventually I made him feel better.  I went out there and loved up on him, made sure his foot was ok, which it was.  He's such a strong dog.  He's running around happy and everything.  I felt so bad and I vowed to Never Ever Ever Ever hurt him again.  I treated him like a prince the rest of the day.  He got special treats and I played with him a lot.  So yeah, that made me feel like crap!  I was so mad at that damn idiot we always run into.  We just call him the ShyGuy.  He don't talk at all and he's always got this funny frown on his face.  He seems shy and distant.  He also has kind of an attitude sometimes.  One day he stopped me and threatened to shoot my dog, Cody, because he thought Cody was messing with his grandma's sheep.  He's part of those same idiot family that accused my mom and dad's dogs for killing their sheep so they ran over to my parents place and demanded $100 for the sheep their dogs "supposedly" killed.  My mom paid them, which I thought was bogus because how the hell were they supposed to know FOR SURE that it was their dogs who killed that sheep.  Plus, those damn idiots just let those sheep wander around everywhere unsupervised!!!!  So yeah, this ShyGuy is part of that family.  His grandma owns those sheep.  Anyway, he threatened to shoot the German Shepherd that was bothering his sheep.  I told him that it wasn't Cody because Cody is tied up at home and the only time he's loose is when we go out to exercise.  I think he was referring to my dad's German Shepherd, Romo.  So yeah, that dude pisses me off and I'm sick of running into him down there on MY ROAD.  I need to get my walks in every morning and for him to be down there disrupting mine with his dogs, that is NOT COOL.

Anyway, so I didn't do my 6 miles today.  I probably did 4 miles, that's it.  Makes me mad because I had only been doing 3 miles because of my knees.  Today was when I was ready for the six miles again and that crap had to happen.  Ugh, such a bad crazy day!  Not only was that bad, but we went to the casino again.  Now for starters, I had a bad feeling about it today!  I was not feeling like a winner today, but against my better judgment, I went there anyway and dropped 20 bucks on the slot machines.  I did not win a damn thing!  I knew I shouldn't have went in there.  Made me mad!!!!  So yeah, lost money again.  I'm really starting to hate that place because if you want to make any money, You have to spend a LOT of money!  That's the plain and simple short of it.  So even when you spend money after money, time after time, visit after visit, and one day eventually hit the jackpot, you'll probably only earn back all the money you pissed away from day one!  So you don't really get a profit.  Those Navajos running that place sure know their shit, honestly!  Take Take Take!!!

After the casino, we finally went to watch the movie, If I Stay.  Oh my gosh, it was NOT what I was expecting.  The damn previews make it look so good, but when you actually see the movie, it totally does not live up to the expectations you had from watching the previews!  So yeah, I wasn't very happy with it.  Especially the ending, oh man what a sucky, crap ending for a movie!  I hate when they leave you hanging like that!!!  I mean, shit if you're going to waste the audiences time for 2 hours, atleast give them an ending worth all that!  But no, it's some shit crap ending, then it's over.  You leave there wondering what happened and everything.  Pisses me off!!!!!  That just added to the already bad day I was having.

We went to vote this evening, Lees and I.  After that, I took my truck down to my grandpa's house so my uncle and cousin could try and hook up my stereo.  My dad and I tried several months back, but we couldn't get it working.  They tried too, for a couple of hours but nadda!  They couldn't get it working either.  So now, I've got to take it into town and get the radio tested; make sure it's still working.  I hope it is!  We'll see though.
Well that was my day.  It was bad, mostly, but this evening was nice.  Lees worked on her homework and cooked us a good chicken dinner and I watched movies.  Now, I'm totally beat and ready for bed.  I'm definitely going to get my 6 miles done tomorrow.  Lots of work on my body to be done still.  Fyrescape ain't nowhere near finish!  Goodnight ;}

Day One Hundred Nineteen

I didn't wake up very early this morning.  I headed out for my walk.  This time, Lisa came with me.  She came running out to me just as I was leaving.  We took Cody and Cooper with us.  It was a good walk and a swift pace.  We only did 3 miles though.  Lisa had to get ready for school.  I was wanting to finish up and complete my 6 miles, but by the time we got back it was pretty hot outside and that sun was really cooking my arms.  I'm already tanned pretty bad on my arms and I sure didn't want another sunburn, so I just said screw it and I called it after that.  I did 3 miles and as long as I did something, that's good enough.

The rest of the day was pretty mellow.  Lisa cut my hair a bit, trimmed it off and I took a nice long shower, cleaned my hair pretty good and did a good shave.  I'm lookin slick!  You can really see my weight loss, especially on my neck.  My neck used to be pretty thick, especially below my ears, but now it's really narrow.  You can see my jawline and my face is narrow.  My cheeks are no longer round, they're flat and stern.  I compared pix of myself now to ones I took last year and omgosh you can really see a difference.  It's crazy and I thank God so much that He's given me the strength to continue my Fyrescape everyday since April 29th.

Finally found my hunting boots today.  I've been looking for them for about 2 weeks now.  I'm all ready for hunting.  Tomorrow on my walk, I'm going to break'em in.  My dad's been bugging me to do that for a while now.

Ok well that's about all for today.  Now, I'm going to hit the sack.  I've gotta get up early and get it done!  Lookin forward to tomorrow.  Goodnight!
