Woke up this morning and was Ready to walk...but my foot :'( :'( :'( Damn! Still in pain. I'm startin to worry, I don't wanna be out of commission for weeks! No siree. Anyway, today was pretty easy going. Dang I forgot to mention yesterday that we got this really dark fog that rolled into town. It was foggy like crazy last night. The fog was so dark that you couldn't see the town lights from my home, which is just right across the river. You couldn't even see the casino lights up the hill. That fog was so thick. This morning it was still foggy. The whole day was cloudy and then this evening, it got foggy again! So right now, it looks spooky out there lol. I'm just glad I got my boys outside lookin after us (Cody and Cooper). Those champs aren't afraid of Nuthin!
Anyway, the day was pretty mellow. I been wanting to decorate but everytime we get the chance too, we're always too tired and lazy. So mostly we just hung around the house today. This evening we had practice again. It went pretty good, but my dad wasn't there. Things sure changed after the passing of our former pastor, Jim Foreman. His funeral services will be this weekend and they requested that my mom and dad be there. So tomorrow, mom dad and my sis will be heading out to Oklahoma for the funeral. It's a 14 hour drive to get out there. That definitely takes away from my puppet skits for the Program. They are going to try to be back here by the Program @ 6pm on Sunday. I'm sure they'll make it but even if they do, they might be too tired to perform, but we'll see. I'll have to work on that.
So practice today went well. We didn't practice for too long, just went thru a few. Then, we had a prayer meeting with the pastor and other members. That was different, but pastor said it was something that God had put on his heart to do.
The rest of the evening was pretty mellow again. Just sat around watching Christmas movies. Tomorrow is another practice. Same time, then on Friday they will be sacking Candy. Oh man, it's been a long week. I can't wait for next week to get here lol. Goodnight!
