Day Two Hundred Thirty One

Woke up this morning and decided that it was still too muddy out there to go walking, so I called it off again today. It's cool though because I definitely got another form of exercise in today!

I was home the morning, but once noon hit, Lees and I went into town. The church had asked me to go and pick up the gifts from the Shoebox Ministry today so that's what I did. We went up to my old work, Albertsons, and met the people in the parking lot. Oh my gosh there was a LOT of stuff. I got a huge amount of flour, beans, cooking oil, gifts and clothes. It was Awesome! They loaded up my truck for me. Luckily, we got everything packed in there so I didn't have to make two trips. Just one! My back seat was loaded down, and my entire back bed was full to the max with gifts, apples, oranges and clothes. Those people are so nice! Afterwards, I thanked them all and we headed to the church. I spent the next hour unloading the truck by myself. I took all the bags with shoebox gifts inside, as well as the boxes of oranges and apples, then I unloaded all the flour bags, bean bags, and boxes of cooking oil. Lisa had to go to work so she was cooking some lunch at the church during this time. I didn't mind though. I got my workout! It was tough unloading. There was so much stuff. By the time I was done, I was sweatin bullets lol. My grandma and grandpa stopped by when I was unloading. They helped a lil, but I didn't want my grandma lifting those boxes. They were too heavy for her, as they were for grandpa as well so I did most the work. At that point, Lisa lended a hand too and we got it all done. So that was my workout! Lots of bending, lifting, carrying, and stacking.

I visited with grandpa and grandma for a bit, then Lees and I left because she had to go to work. Since we were already in town, I just went ahead and took her. After dropping her off, I headed back to the church. I had to take down the entire puppet stage from last night's program and clean up the place. I did that all by myself also. No one stopped by to help. But, I got it all done, which I was glad of. I packed the puppet stage out in the shed and reminded everyone afterwards to be careful with it because I'm sure we'll use it for next year's Christmas Program also. That'll be fun!

Well that was my day. I came home after church and cleaned up the place. Definitely lookin forward to tomorrow because in the evening is when me, Lees, my brother and sister are gonna head out to look at Christmas lights. My sister wanted to do that so we planned for tomorrow night. That should be fun. For now, I'm going to relax the rest of the evening and watch some Christmas movies. Until tomorrow ;} Goodnight!
