Today was pretty good! I woke up early and did my 6 miles. I walked it pretty quick. I saw Dad on the road with his dogs, but we didn't talk much. I think he knows that when we start up conversation, I always end up cutting my walk short because we talk so long. So now, we just say Good Morning, say a few words, then keep on going. It's ok! Anyway, I did my full walk today. I'm going to add a bit more running in with my walk from now on. I feel like my legs are ready for that!
When we got back, we got cleaned up, then headed to town. I forgot to mention yesterday that when we bought tickets for Ninja Turtles tonight, we also bought tickets to watch the new movie, Into The Storm, which also came out today so this morning just before 11am, we went to see that one. Oh man, it was so intense! I remember when that movie, Twister, came out back when I was still in high school. Everyone thought that movie was crazy, but no way, this movie was way better than that one! Those storm scenes were pretty wild!!! Hard to believe that there's so many ppl who live in that type of weather up in Tornado Alley. Crazy crazy!!! But it was good and we both enjoyed it.
After the movie, we got a little something to eat, then came home. I saw that huge line for Ninja Turtles when we were leaving the theater so right away I called everyone and told them to be early for the movie because there was gonna be a long line.
That evening, we headed up. Surprisingly, there weren't that many waiting, but that was because they had already started seating before we got there. Luckily we got some pretty good seats, though. My Dad and brother were already there. My Mom was heading there soon as she got off. Well all I can say was that the movie was AWESOME!!!!! We really loved it. It was a perfect image of the original Ninja Turtles but with some newer twists and and way cooler look to them. We really liked it!!!! Defintely wanna see it again. It sucks that my sister didn't go with us. She's dealing with her own life now and I sure hope she gets thru it all. Anyway as for the rest of my family, I'm not sure if they liked it or not. They didn't say and right after the movie, they all got up and left. We were hoping to have dinner with them, but they were gone. Lees and I stayed until the credits were done, just in case, which is what we usually do. Nothing, so don't waste your time lol. Afterwards, we ate there at the mall. It was a nice dinner! Just us. We then headed home and just enjoyed a quiet evening. I was so tired though, we both were, that we just ended up calling it a night early.
So now, I'm off to dreamland. It was a great day! Great movies and good times. Tomorrow, we shall see ;} Goodnight!
