Day One Hundred Three

Today was an Awesome day!!!  I woke up early this morning and did my entire 6 miles.  I added a little bit of running in there also.  Lisa came out again and ran.  She's really been getting back into that.  I'm so proud of her.  When we got home, we got ready and headed to town.  I needed to go to Sportsmans Warehouse and look for a target so I can sharpen my archery skills.  We were there for a bit.  I also looked at some other things I'm wanting to purchase like a few guns, a boat and a ton of fishing supplies.  I love that store!  Instead of buying a target there for 40 bucks we headed over to Walmart where I found one for $15.  That was a steal.

Now this is where my day gets really interesting.  While standing in line at Walmart.  My aunt walked into the store.  I haven't seen her in a really long time.  I only see her in passing.  Sometimes I'll see her at church but she hasn't been back to our church in a while.  Anyway, she comes walking in.  She sees me and just stares for a few moments, then she comes up to me and says hi.  I look at her and say hi, then she tells me "You lost weight!!!  Oh my gosh I can't even recognize you!!!"  Dang :D  I was so super happy.  She told me that I had lost a lot of weight and that I looked really good and very different.  That really lifted my spirits.  I kept bringing that up to Lisa and she was like, "I told you so" lol.  Yes, she did!  Lisa has been telling me that I look really good and that I've been looking better day by day.  It's hard to believe because for so long I was dangerously overweight and didn't even know it.  Now that I'm on Fyrescape, I've lost a very good amount of weight.  My body type is very strange too.  When you think of a 360 pound person, you'd think really enormous!  I'm talking, huge, jiggly arms and thunder thighs with a big gut that hangs over your belt and three chins.  Big huge man boobs.  Well, I DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!  Trust me, that's not me being shy either.  I do NOT look like that.  That's what's so damn confusing and that's why I didn't know that I weighed that much back in April.  My waist was only a 46, which is big yes, but it wasn't 55 or 60 inches or more, which is what the nurse at the hospital said was the norm.  My arms are toned and strong.  My legs are lean and not big and fat.  They're pretty muscular.  I think my chin was pretty chubby looking, so was my face, but it wasn't really bad.  Now, my face and chin have gotten really lean and slender.  My chest is hard and I don't have man boobs.  My stomach was big, but it didn't hang over my pants.  I don't have rolls on my back or even on my stomach or sides.  That is the best way I can describe how my body looked.  I defintely did not think I matched a 360 pound dude.  I thought at worse, 280 or 290.  Defintely not pass 300.  So when that nurse told me that I was only 40 pounds away from being a 400 pound man, I was really REALLY blown away and couldn't believe it!!!!  So now that I'm down almost 40 pounds, I really don't look like I even weigh 300 anymore.  People thought I was about 270.  That's how I look, so I don't know.  It's strange.  I must have a lot of muscle under this extra weight because I am pretty strong.  I always kept up my strength and walking 6 miles everyday has really built up muscle in my legs.  My legs are more stronger than they've ever been!  So that's me.

Anyway, so my aunt really made my day!  I'm more confident now that I've ever been but in no way will that keep me from continuing on with my Fyrescape.  I'm not done until I'm a lean 200 pounds.  Still got until next April so I've got a long way to go.  We'll see how it all goes.
The rest of my day was pretty good.  Lisa and I ordered a pizza and she bought me my late birthday cake, which was a Sugar Free pie!!!!  Yes, I did not want a cake, especially after that crazy calorie cake she got on her birthday!  No way, I wanted to keep it as healthy as I could.  When we went to Furrs a few days ago, I had a piece of sugar free pie and it was so good, I defintely wanted that for my birthday.  So, that's what Lisa got me.  She sang me Happy Birthday and had me blow out a candle.  It was so funny because we were joking about something and I could not blow out that dang candle because I was laughing so hard.  It took me over 3 tries to finally get it LOL.  We had a great time!  We watched movies, then later in the evening, I took some shots at my new target.  I hit 3 bulls-eyes.  I was super proud!  I mean, not bad for my first try.  I think I will get pretty good at it.  I'm just going to keep on doing it until I can hit a flying penny at 40 yards.  That's when I know I'm there ;)

Well we ended the night by playing cards.  Lisa showed me some new card games.  Now, I'm totally zero'd out and ready to hit the sack.  Tomorrow is church and another great day!  Goodnight :}
