Ok, today I called off my walk. Last night, I was so tired and feeling so burnt out. I just was not in the mood to do 6 miles this morning. So instead I decided to sleep in this morning. I really did not want to do anything. I was getting tired of waking up at 5am every morning and just wanted a morning when I woke up way later. Even on my rest days, I end up waking up at 5:30am and just stay awake. So that's what I did today. I woke up at the usual time, around 5am. I stayed up for just a bit, then I decided, no way man, so I went back to bed. I slept all the way until 9am. Oh man it felt so good. I woke up to my cell phone ringing. My dad called me telling me there was a target on sale at Sportsmans Warehouse. I felt great afterwards, though. My body finally felt rested. I really needed this.
So yesterday I called my grandpa and told him that today I was planning on going to the casino. I figured maybe he'd like to come with me. Him and I always have fun at casinos together. It's our hangout spot hahaha. We hit that Star Casino in Bernalillo a lot earlier this year. We have yet to visit this Northern Edge Casino here though. Anyway, he told me yesterday that he wasn't gonna make it and he was too busy. Well this morning, Lees and I paid bills, then we went to watch 'The Expendables 3', oh man that was such an Awesome movie!!! Easily the Best one yet! We watched that, then afterwards, we came home because Lees had to go to sleep because she works graveyards tonight. Just after we got home, I was gettin ready to head up to the casino by myself. Just then, grandpa calls and asks if I was over there and I told him I was just now gettin ready to cruise up there. He said that he and my grandma would meet me there. I was super happy so I headed up there. After playing the slot machines for a bit, I walked around and ran into them. We had such a great time! We weren't really there to win money and walk away rich, we were just having fun. I taught my grandparents about the different slot machines and how to play them. For the first time, my grandpa played different machines and he had fun on them. We won some, lost some, but all in all, we had a great time! We spent the whole afternoon and evening there. I wanted to eat dinner with them at the restaurant, but grandma said they had already eaten. They left about 7pm tonight and I left about 2 hours later. I had fun! There was so many ppl there tonight, but it was ok. No craziness happened, everyone was just having a great time. I wish Lees was there with me, but she had to get some sleep.
Well that was pretty much my entire day! No exercise today. More like a sleep/fun day. The casino was so fun and I defintely wanna go back tomorrow. Probably be by myself again because Lisa has to go to sleep soon as she gets home in the morning because she's gotta work tomorrow afternoon again. She's such a hard and dependable worker. If I had a company, she's definitely someone I would want as one of my supervisors. Ok, time to close out for the evening. Goodnight!
