Day One Hundred One

Oh man I can't believe it's been 101 days since I've started Fyrescape.  Seriously, anyone reading this, mark my words, keeping a blog when you're on a journey to better health, it really does help!  It keeps you sharp and knowing that you have to write in this everyday really keeps you going, though it's not all that is.  You have to also have the determination to do it.  I have proven in my 101 days that you don't need to fancy pills, or fany equipment.  All you need it to get off your ass, get out there and get it!!! That's it, that simple! So no excuses.

So I woke up this morning, still in shock over yesterday, but I took out those feelings on my walk.  I did 6 miles and finished strong.  It was good being out there.  Still thinking about yesterday really makes me sick to my stomach, though.  I'm so stupid for doing that to Lisa and my family.  Yeah my Dad shouldn't have made me feel like I was gonna get that truck for my birthday, but still I shouldn't have acted the way I did.  Very bad!

Well we had all planned for the last 2 weeks that we're going to have a movie night tomorrow (Friday).  We (me, Lisa, Mom, Dad, my brother and sister) were going to go and watch the new Ninja Turtles movie tomorrow night.  We're still planning on that so this morning after my walk, Lees and I headed up town and bought us some tickets.  Before that, Lisa's aunt called and wanted a ride to her husband's work, then to give him a ride to their truck where it broke down.  So we did that!  This was also the day that I needed to get my bow sighted in for my bowhunt.  So after we helped out Lisa's aunt, we went to the theater and bought tickets for tomorrow night, then we met my Dad at the Archery shop.  Dad also bought tickets for the rest of the family before heading there.  Anyway, the archery thing went really well.  I got my bow sighted in at 20 yards.  I have lots of learning to do.  I've never practiced on a bow like I'm doing now.  This thing is totally set up just for me and it's Amazing!  One thing I hated, though, was that my Dad keeps treating me like I'm still 12 years old and he keeps worrying if I can pull back that bow.  Ugh!!!  I hate when that happens.  YES I CAN PULL THE FREAKIN BOW BACK!!!!  IT'S NO PROBLEM FOR ME!!! But yeah, he kept bugging about that. I guess he thinks I can't pull it back or else he wants to believe I can't handle it because it's more than he pulls. He's gotta realize though that I'm a man now. I'm not that kid from 15 years ago. But oh well, I got it sighted in. Now I just gotta work on my other points. 30 yards, 40 yards, 50 yards, and then 60 yards, but I don't know if I would take a shot at one from that range. That's pretty far! So that was what we did there. Lisa really wants to get into archery so I had her pick out a bow she would want and we're going to save up for it and get her started. She's really excited about that, as am I. Maybe next year, she'll come with us hunting. She's going to love that. She's a nature girl. The rest of the day was pretty mellow. We just enjoyed it the best we could, tryna let go of yesterday. We watched IMPACTwrestling tonight. It was a great show. Lisa is on vacation until Sunday. I sure wish we could go to the ocean, which is what I originally wanted to do on my birthday, but with everything that happened this year, we just couldn't do that. So we'll see how next year turns out. Until then, we're having fun ;} Goodnight!
