Day Ninety Three

Today is my sixth day of doing 6 miles.  Lisa brought some interesting facts to my attention today.  I have walked 36 miles in the last six days.  Whoa!!!!  36 miles!!!  I never really looked at it like that.  She has only done 18 miles.  Unlike me, she only does 3 miles every day.  She cannot do 6 miles, in fact no one can.  None that I know of.  My family and some who've heard, they think I'm crazy for doing 6 miles per day.  They can't believe it.  I didn't think it was that big a deal, but now that Lisa put it as a whole, then yeah I can definitely see it now.  Dang!  36 miles lol.  It's mindblowing.  Makes me wonder how the hell did I put on 4 pounds in 12 days though!  I really don't believe that.  I think that's false.  I mean, it takes a lot to put on a pound, much less 4 pounds.  There's no way I put on 4 pounds in 12 days, that's just freakin crazy and unbelievable.  I did not share this in my earlier blogs since that one when I told my last weight, which was 4 pounds heavier.  The other day, I was on my walk and thinking.  That's all I do is think when I'm out there.  Anyway, I thought how could it have been possible for me to put on 4 pounds and in 12 days?!  The only thing I could think of was that it was my eating...which honestly hasn't even been that bad.  But that week during VBS at our church, I did eat a few sweet treats, only because that's what they served over there.  Every other day I had a cup of their juice, which omg was too sweet.  They killed it with sugar.  I could only drink a tiny cup of it because it was just too sweet.  The little kids loved it, but me, yuck!  Anyway, they had cookies and stuff like that which they served, but we're talking like two cookies and a tiny cup of juice.  That's it!  The big crazy one, however, was Lisa birthday on the 18th.  Our eating was really bad that day!  We ate breakfast at the casino here, then we went to a movie and drank Diet Coke, but we had popcorn.  Then afterwards, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and ate lunch.  We had some of their signature wings.  It's a new restaurant here and that was our first time eating there.  She wanted to go there on her birthday!  Also, that evening, I had her pick out a cake she wanted.  She wanted an ice cream cake at Dairy Queen so we went over there.  She picked out a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cake.  Oh man, now that was super sweet.  It was a huge cake too.  No nutritional facts on it though so I have no idea how many calories it had, but if a small snickers bar has 250 to 400 calories, I'm sure that cake was really really really high in calories.  The following week we ate a restaurants in town twice.  We had two big hamburgers.  Yeah, I know.  Totally failed my dieting that week, but it was her birthday and it was kinda our reward, I was thinking at the time, for busting our butts the past two months.  I didn't think it was hurting anything, plus everyday this was happening, I was still doing my 6 miles each morning.  I figured, any extra calories that I was taking in, I'd burn it off on the morning walk/run.  Another thing was that both Lisa and I probably had a slice of that cake each day following her birthday, just so we could try and finish it because it was a big cake.  Well, from all I can possibly think of, maybe that's how I put on 4 pounds in 12 days, because of that cake.  That was the conclusion I came to because there was really no other explanation for it.  So, earlier this week, I told Lisa NO MORE and I tossed the rest of that cake in the trash.  I also cut out our hamburger/restaurant eating.  My birthday is coming up next week and I told Lisa that I did not want a cake, instead I wanted her to come up with an alternative, something cool and interesting and way WAY less calories than a cake.  I've had enough cake to last the rest of the year, honestly, with Lisa's birthday cake.  But yeah, that's what I've concluded.  I need to really watch what I eat.  I still don't believe that even that cake put 4 pounds on my body.  No way, especially not with me doing 6 miles daily!  Then again, maybe it's muscle build!  Could possibly be.  Maybe my legs put on 4 pounds of muscle since I've been doing 6 miles every day all at once.  That's another possibility, though I'm not going to go around saying that's what it is because I don't want to give myself false hope.  I'm just going to see it as weight gain and I'm going to work my butt off to lose those pounds again.

Ok, so that was my explanation for my weight gain.  It's either fat built up from that crazy Ice Cream cake, or it's muscle build.  Either way, I will deal with it.  This evening, my left leg really started aching.  I've been doing 6 miles for the past 6 days.  I think it's time for a rest day tomorrow.  Usually when my leg is aching like this, that's my body telling me it's had it for the week and that I need to take it easy for a day, let it recharge.  So, that's what I'm gonna do tomorrow.  Oh and on worser shit news, my favorite wrestling company TNA IMPACTwrestling, well there are rumors going around that SpikeTV is going to cancel their weekly show.  Some crazy TMZ reported that earlier this week and the whole internet world went wild with it.  I don't believe they're going to get canceled though.  I have faith that TNA will be around for a long, long time.  SpikeTV is just trying to get lower rates from TNA, is what I believe.  Even if Spike doesn't renew with TNA, they'll find another network that'll pick up the show.  I love TNA and I love all the talent they have.  I would not want to see all those ppl out of a job.  They have familes to support too so I pray that TNA gets thru this and grows into a more successful company in the years to come.  Goodnight!
