Day Two Hundred Seventy


Woke up this morning and right away did my 3 miles. Lisa came with me again! She's been really hitting that walk with me every morning. I'm so proud of her. I hope she keeps it up always. Since she's only taking one class this semester, she's got so much time on her hands and she's using that to get back into shape.

So after the 3 miles, we pulled out the jump ropes. Today I really sucked at it though. I kept messing up big time. I could only hit about 10 before the rope caught my foot. I tried and tried. Lisa hit over 50 right off and went on to do 100. Me I could not get past 10 without stopping because the damn rope kept hitting my foot. I don't know how or why. Anyway, after a few tries my right knee started to hurt. Pisses me off, I hate when that happens. My knee was really bothering me so I decided to stop. I have to be so damn careful with my knee otherwise it starts acting up like crazy for days. I didn't even get to lift any weights and that really bothered me all day.

I'm drinking water. I still haven't been able to finish the whole gallon but I'll get there! I'm really going to try and down a gallon a day within a month. It's hard! I can see why so many fitness ppl out there add flavoring to their water. I need to do that, find some kind of flavoring. That was my problem. I drank so much water and I love it, but because there's no taste it really gets old after a while, then soon you wanna have a diet soda or some juice, then when you drink that, you're no longer thirsty for water. It's complicated and crazy! I'll need to work on that.

Well not much to report the rest of my day. Just another typical day of getting by. I'm really pissed that I didn't do much after my 3 miles this morning. I want to hit the weights and jump ropes hard daily. Eventually I'm going to start DDPyoga too. I'm just trying to get my body used to weights and jump rope. That is really building up my wind.
