Day Two Hundred Seventy One


Today was AWESOME!! I did 3 miles this morning and I walked it strong. It was a great walk! I almost finished my gallon of water, damn I wish I did! Would've been perfect today. After the walk, we pulled out the jump ropes. My knee was feeling really good and not hurting at all. I messed up on the first few tries. I only hit about 10, then 9, then 10, then 10 again. Something like that! After that, I stopped and went to the weights. Last time I did it, I did 10 deadlifts. Lisa only did 5. She did 10 this time. Then I got on there and I did 20 :D Woohoo!!! I did some curls, which is much easier than the last time I did it. I did solid curls this time. I have a lot of weight on my bar too. It was really good. My legs were burning. I took a minute rest, then I hit the jump rope again. This time, I hit a straight 36 times non stop! Finally I got past 10 lol. I felt really good but oh man after I was done with that, I was breathing really heavily and I was so very tired! My legs were like jello and I was exhausted. I have never been that tired, ever before! I really pushed myself hard. I just can't believe it. All this time, I haven't done this kind of workout. I would just do my 3 miles and that's it. Even the walk, I'm noticing now that I'm really pushing it and walking fast. Before, it was more like a stroll. So that's one thing that can happen. You really need to watch yourself when you exercise for a long period of time. After a while, you're body will get used to it and you'll end up taking it slow and not really getting anything out of it, but in your mind you think, since you've been doing it so long, that you're still killing it out there and pushing yourself hard. Not true! You need to really watch yourself and make sure that you do more everyday and always push hard. Don't stroll when you walk, do power walking. Basically a step down from actually running. That's how you need to walk.

The rest of the day I felt Awesome! Oh my gosh, my legs were aching so bad though. My knee, however, was not hurting at all, but both legs were aching. My left leg was aching all day long, up until this evening and right now, I can still feel it. Crazy! I'm not sore though ;} Last time I did this a few days back, I was super sore by the end of the day and the next day I was really bad. Nope, not this time. My body just felt tired afterwards and the aching legs, but I am not sore. You know what that is? Progress ;}

Ok that's all for today. I got everything done early tonight. Fed my animals, cleaned up the place, cleaned my pellet stove, put some stuff away in the storage, emptied the trash, cleaned out my vacuum cleaner. Tomorrow we're watching wrestling at my dad's. Just hope things go smoothly. I swear I can still feel tension between my mom and I. Seriously, I don't know what the hell happened and why she's so damn different now. It's like I really pissed on her world or something. She is just not the same anymore. That is so very strange!
