I consider this a Brand New Day. I didn't have a church to attend this morning. Instead, Lisa and I stayed home and had a nice big breakfast and just talked about things. We decided we're not going to let my mom or anyone destroy our peace. We're just going to move on and continue our Journey.
As for my Fyrescape, it's still on. I have 4 months till my year is up. I'm still kinda coughing. I'm not 100 percent just yet. The house is nice and warm, which I'm so thankful for. Lisa is feeling better too, but she's dealing with her coughing as well. We both need to get our flu shots once we're both better. I don't wanna go thru this again. I've been sidelined for the last week and a half or so because of it. I want to get back out there and exercise so bad. My body is craving it!
Nothing much happened today. Just watched football this evening by myself. Lisa went to work. The Colts beat the Broncos. That was surprising. I feel bad for my dad and for my brother. Both their teams didn't make it. My brother is a Cardinals fan and my dad is a Broncos fan. Being as how the Super Bowl is in Arizona, I had hoped one of their teams would've made it. I wish mine did, but the Giants played like crap most the season. I was so disappointed in them. I knew they are and could be so much better than that! Hopefully this coming season they do great! I wanna see them at the Super Bowl again. As for this year, I thought it would've been a rematch of last year, but no dice. We shall see. I don't know if the Colts are going to be able to get past Brady and the Patriots next weekend, but with the way they played today, they just might. If they do make it to the Super Bowl, I'll definitely be rooting for them.
Well that was my day. I'm going to sleep soon. I'll take some Nyquil and just pass out until the sun is out once again. Goodnight and Dream Sweet!
