Day One Hundred Fifty Nine

Today was pretty good!  Got up and did my 3 miles.  I know I'm ready to get back to 6 miles so we'll see how it goes on Monday!  I really wanna start pushing myself again.  My knee is feeling pretty good.  Actually it's been feeling better ever since I aced the sandals and started wearing shoes everyday, even when I go outside just to feed the dogs.  Shoes do wonders!  Now I want to get me some really good ones.  I think that'll do wonders for my knee and even my back.

So this morning after exercising and taking a cold shower, which I'm really getting tired of, we went to watch, 'Left Behind'.  It was pretty good.  I never watched the old version with Kirk Cameron, but Lisa did.  She said that this new one wasn't as boring as that one.  This one was more action.  Good message in there BUT they left out some important parts.  In the movie, the Rapture happens and nobody knows what's going on.  They're just goin crazy wondering what happened to everyone.  Confusion and whatnot.  Well, I talked with my Pastor because I was confused because in the Bible it says that the trumpets will sound and Jesus will come down to earth.  Well, they left that part out of the movie.  He said yes, that part happens DURING the rapture!  So yeah, being that as it is, everyone will know exactly what's going on unlike in the movie.  So that was probably my only real complaint about it.  Otherwise, it was good.  Hollywood really takes these movies to the next level and adds or pulls certain things from it.  They did that with that movie, Noah.  Pastor says he doesn't watch these biblical movies ever because none of them ever stick to the bible.  He used that movie, Noah, as an example.  He said that movie was Way crazy and NOT like how it says in the Bible.  So yeah, I don't think I'll be watching anymore of those religious movies.  I'll stick to the Bible stories and what God's word actually says.  Hollywood just wants to make a buck so they have to do whatever they can to keep the audience interested.  Pastor did say, however, that the movie 'Heaven is for Real' was really good.  He said that was a very moving story and he really enjoyed it.  I have yet to see it.  I almost bought it when it first came out, but I hadn't watched it yet so I decided to wait until I did see it.  Now, I wish I had bought it.  I'll have to check that out soon.

Well, that's really all I've got for today.  My knees are feeling great so I really want to start doing more exercising.  With the holidays fast approaching, I really want to get my body slimmer.  Need to discipline myself being as how all those holiday treats will be everywhere.  Honestly though, I don't think I'll have much of a problem in that area.  This evening I had dinner with my mom and brother.  I told my mom that I haven't had a candy bar since April.  That's the truth too.  I have not ate a chocolate bar or any candy for that matter, since my Fyrescape started.  She even offered me a Milky Way but I said No Way man!!!  Gotta keep that stuff out my bod ;)  I haven't had McDonald's either or any fast food hamburger.  I've been pretty good at keeping away from all that stuff.  Wow, I haven't really thought about it until now.  I'm doing pretty good.  So, IT IS POSSIBLE!!!  I don't wanna hear that you think it's not possible to stay away from that stuff.  It IS!!!  So just get out there and do it!  That's what I keep trying to tell my mom and my brother.  Get out there and Do It!

Ok, enjoy the rest of your night!  Goodnight ;)
