Day Two Hundred Seven

Wow!!!!  Today was AWESOME!!!
I woke up early this morning to a cold place.....brrrrrrr, it was freezing!  I cleaned up the kitchen and straightened up as much as I could.  Then about 9am, Dad showed up.  We waited on Grandpa then we got to work.  All day almost, that's how long it took.  Grandpa didn't think it would be that long, but it was.  All I can say is that it was busy busy.  Grandpa and I worked on the inside.  Dad crawled up on the roof and cut the hole for the piping and did all the drilling from up there.  He went home a few times to get some tools we needed.  My brother came back with him the first time and helped him out up top.  Grandpa and I worked on it from the living room.  We connected the piping and worked on cutting the hole in the ceiling.  It was a really messy job!  I was constantly vacuuming the corner because there was so much dust in the ceiling.  When we were almost done, we installed the thermostat to the stove and I poured the wood pellets in there.

Lisa didn't help out too much because she had a meeting at her work that she went to early this morning.  Afterwards, she paid some bills in town then I had her bring home some donuts for everyone helping.  She did and she made some coffee for them.  During break time, they had coffee and donuts.  Lees was there until about noon then I had her go into town and put some money in the bank so I could pay the rest of the bills later, and to bring home some lunch for everyone.  We bought Taco Bell for everybody.  So, before they all left, they had a good lunch.  Dad got all his tools, so did grandpa.  Then, we fired up the stove!  We were all standing in front of it as we watched it make it's first spark, then the thing kicked on.  It was an Awesome moment!  Lisa was so excited and happy, as was I.  Dad and my brother left after that.  Grandpa and I sat there for about 30 mins making sure the heater stayed on.  We also made sure the thermostat was working.  We let it get warm, then we shut it off, then turned it on.  So yup, it's working beautifully!  After that, I thanked Grandpa for his help.  He was glad and happy it was working, then he left.  Lisa had to go to work so she left before Grandpa did.  Afterwards, my sister came by to see it all.  She really liked how warm it was inside.  I gave her some of the tacos that we had left over, so she ate too.  Then we had a small talk.  Some time back, I designed her a tattoo that she could get on her arm.  It's a really nice design, but no tattoo artist in town could do it.  Why, I have no idea!  Anyway, she searched forever it seemed.  Well apparently today she found a place in Durango who could do it so she made an appointment and came by to tell me that.  She was really happy and excited.  I'm very happy that she's going to do that.  Now she'll have MY design on her arm, which will give me exposure ;)  That's very cool!!

After everyone left, I washed up and needed to go up town to get a straw bail for my dogs and to get a heat lamp bulb for my cat's house.  I'm so worried about my animals and I want them to be warm just like I'll be warm.  So I left.  On the way up town, which was around 5pm, I get a call from mom and they asked me to come eat out with them.  So, I went to the feed store and bought a bail of straw.  My dad asked me to buy him one too.  Afterwards, I met them at Furrs restaurant and we had a great dinner there.  We had to wait on my brother, as always.  Me, mom and dad looked in this store before we went in to eat.  It was nice!  Lots of neat stuff and everyone has their Christmas stuff out already so it's really getting exciting ;)

Dinner was great!  We had a good time with lots of laughs.  Afterwards, everyone scattered.  I went to Sams Club and got my dogs some food, then I went to Walmart to find a heat lamp bulb but they were out, then I came home.  I divided up the straw between Cody and Cooper.  They love it!  They snuggled up in it all night long.  I was very happy for that.
Well that was my entire day!  Busy busy!!!  Right now, I'm beat but it feels great to sleep inside a warm house.  Mom and Dad came by after I got home tonight because Mom wanted to see the stove.  It was nice and warm when they got here.  She loved it and was very happy!  I thanked her and Dad so much for that stove.  Mom said it was an early Christmas present ;) So looks like I got my gifts early this year.  I'm very happy!  I am very thankful to God.  He has blessed me with a very wonderful family and He is always watching out for me.  I urge you to put your faith in Him.  He works miracles everyday ;)  Until tomorrow, Goodnight!
