Day One Hundred Eighty Seven

Oh man Oh man, today was such a Blessing!!!!

First off, I got up early today and I headed out and did my 3 miles.  Had a pretty good walk.  On the way back though, I got a call today.  It was from....my sister :O  That was a surprise!  I answer it and she told me the most surprising news.  Right away, she said that our prayers have been answered.  She's gettin out!!!!  Getting out of her crazy lifestyle and leaving that whole situation behind and moving on with her life in a good and positive way!  I'm not going to sit here and plaster my sister business all over this blog.  Just know that she's finally seen the light at the end of this dark tunnel that she'd been lost in these past couple years.  She told me her story and how yesterday was really bad.  Today, she decided No More and that she's getting out!  She had already called my mom before me and told my mom that she was moving back to her house, and if that was ok, to which my mom was so happy and said YES!  So, my sister was at work when she called me.  I talked to her for a long time.  I gave her advice and told her what she needed to do.  She listened well.  She wanted my help, as well as the whole family's help.  Later, my mom called and told me to meet up at my sister's apartment and that we were going to help her move out TODAY and get her out of that damn place!  So I agreed.  Even our Pastor wanted to be there so he came along.  At 4pm today, we all met up at her apartment.  At first, my sister wouldn't answer her phone and the ppl she was living with kinda gave us a hard time, but our Pastor was really bold with them and wouldn't back down.  He is such a good man and he really cares for us all.  Finally, my sister came out and said "Let's Get Out of Here!"  I was so happy and proud of her.  So we loaded up all her stuff into our trucks and got her out of there.  She left some of her stuff up there, but she did not want to go back there so she just left it.  We headed back home.  First, we all prayed together in the parking lot.  Pastor prayed and we thanked him so much for coming out and helping.  He was very happy my sister decided it was time for change.  Now we're all encouraging her to stay with it and to never look back.

She (my sister) wanted to talk with me still so after we moved her out.  I went home and she came by my place.  We talked for a couple hours here.  I talked to her the best I could and gave her lots of advice on how to handle this change in her life.  She seems to genuinely want this change and she felt so bad that she missed my mom's birthday.  She said that she just got tired of the life she was living and couldn't handle her situation anymore. I told her that we would forever be there for her and that there is so much more better out there.  She seems confident and positive about her future.  I'm just so glad and happy that she's home.  I missed my little sister so much!  I thank God so much that He brought her home.  God is so Good!!!!

It was a great day!  Lisa was very happy also that my sister made a change.  It was just such great news and the whole family is happy!  This evening, I took all our Halloween decorations down :(  Awww not until next year again lol.  I'm sure it'll be more fun next year.  Hopefully we'll be in California at Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights.  Oh man, I so want to go there sometime.  It looks Awesome there ;)

Tonight mom invited me over to their house for dinner.  They bought some stuff before they came home after we moved my sister out.  So for the first time in a long time, just my family and I, all sat at the dinner table and had a nice meal, laughs and a good time.  It was so fun!  I can't begin to say how positive things are within the family now.  I hope and pray that it continues this way and that one day, my sister does something extraordinary with her life :)

Ok, now I'm beat.  It's been a long but happy day!  Until tomorrow...Goodnight!
