Day One Hundred Ninety Five

Woke up early this morning and did my 3 miles.  Lisa came with me again.  It's so cool how she's wanting to get back in it.  She just pushes herself too hard at school and with her job also.  I'm constantly talking to her about that and trying to get her to loosen up and not take on so much worry or stress over unnecessary things.  She has a problem doing that a lot.

Church service was good.  I got there late because I was trying on several different clothes and trying to get comfortable with something.  I couldn't find anything.  A couple years ago, my mom took me up town one evening and bought me several pairs of pants from the mall.  I got pants, shirts, and some other clothes.  Over the years, I probably only wore 2 pairs of those pants she bought me and that was only occasionally.  Reason being was because they were tight on me, some were.  I don't know if they fit me when I tried them on, I can't really remember.  Basically though, I put on more weight after I got them.  Last year, I could wear them but they were pretty tight.  Well, now I can wear them...only problem is that they are too big!  They feel so rough too because I'm used to wearing those loose running pants all the time.  So jeans really feel rough and stiff.  It's hard to try and get used to.  I really wanna start wearing jeans full-time again, but these jeans I have now, they're really big.  They look like clown pants now.  The legs are so baggy and they're really long.  The waist area is big so when I walk, they slowly start inching their way down and eventually they'll start to pull my underwear down with them.  I have to keep pulling them up.  When I lose some more pounds, they're gonna be falling right off me constantly.  I'll need a belt, but even then they're gonna be huge, like clown pants.  Anyway that's why I was late to church.  I thought I could wear some jeans to church this time and tried some on.  They were just too uncomfortable because of how big they were.  I'm goin to see what I can do though because I wanna start wearing them.  I'll just buy a belt, but I need to do something to them to make them not look so burly.

After service, I had all the members and ppl who wanted to participate, stay for a meeting.  Pastor announced it to everybody before service and after.  So I conducted the Parade Meeting.  I sat everyone in the sanctuary and we tossed our ideas around and came up with an Awesome idea for our Christmas Float.  I think it'll be nice!  It's something we haven't done in several years.  Pastor is excited and he's going to be walking, passing out candy and invitations to our church.  That man is such a blessing!  I was really surprised when he volunteered to help out and walk.  For years, I've been trying to get our pastors to get active and participate.  Never had one that was willing.  Last year, that crazy guy we got was sort of involved, but then he got greedy and then all that craziness happened so we cut him loose after a very hard fought battle.  He was so manipulative and he almost stole our church away from us.  But with God's help, we prevailed and to this day we're so thankful for that!  We had a few guest pastors from Sunday to Sunday after we finally got rid of that bad preacher.  Then one day, our Pastor now, Pastor Johnson, came along.  He didn't know the story of what really happened between us and the previous guy, his name was Bridge.  I don't refer to him as a pastor though because that man was the furthest thing to it.  He was lying up on the pulpit.  Lying about our former pastor.  We found a Wanted by US Marshals poster of him, which he also lied about.  And, he'd been married 3 times.  So he was an ex con, or so we hope.  For all we know, he may have still been Wanted.  Former drug trafficker apparently.  Anyway, he practically tried taking over our church and kicked all of us who voted him in, he kicked us out.  We fought him for about a month.  He would not leave!  We even had the cops involved and tried to get rid of him, but they couldn't do anything because he hid behind our church bylaws.  He even had the higher ups in the Baptist Convention on his side, so they were no help to us when we asked.  Nobody would help us and we had tried everything.  Bridge was so manipulative and he was evil.  Like I mentioned, he lied and everything.  Oh, he also went thru all our church money.  We had a good amount of money in our checking account.  He spent All of it and we don't know what he spent it on.  Him and his wife never paid any bills either, when they were in charge.  It was just chaos!  So anyway, when we finally got rid of him, he ended up spreading lots of horror stories about us to everyone.  Our Pastor now, Pastor Johnson, he didn't know the story so at first, he was actually trying to convince us to settle things with Bridge and ask him to come back to our church.  LOL!!  Needless to say, that didn't make him too popular amongst our members who just survived this hardcore battle with Bridge.  Anyway, we eventually explained everything to him and now he knows.  Now, his feelings are completely different.  He's completely in support of us and he does not agree with anything Bridge did.  He helped us recover from that situation and now we've built up some of our money.  He's been a wonderful Pastor and he's doing great thing.  God really blessed him with a gift of bringing His word to all of us every Sunday.  It's wonderful!  Anyway, I've been working with him a lot.  He helped me out so much for Hallowed Eve 7.  Now he's pushing me to do great with the Christmas Float.  I'm also planning a Christmas Program, so he's excited for that too.  It's just going really great right now!

Wow, that was long lol.  Sorry I got carried away.  Talking about Bridge always brings back all those memories of how bad it got.  It was crazy!  And those idiots up at the Convention, they're still mad at us for getting rid of him.  They don't know what he was doing at our church because he lied to all of them.  In their eyes, he's a good preacher and we just ganged up on him and got rid of him because we didn't like him.  That is a total lie!  This man was awful and he was doing some really really bad things in our church, not to mention he kicked us all out and was telling some of our members that they weren't welcome in God's house.  You believe that?!  He was turning ppl away from God's house!  That was one thing that really upset Pastor Johnson.  He said that Everyone is allowed in God's house and that no man alive has the right to say that to anyone!  So yeah, that's who and what Bridge was.  So because he lied his butt off to everyone, he got everyone to see us all in a negative light.  We don't care though.  We're a strong church and now we have a wonderful Pastor who's doing great things for God.  We've truly been blessed and our membership is slowly growing.  My work with the church has been really great and everyone is excited for the coming months, especially with the success of Hallowed Eve 7 and now with the Christmas Float and Christmas Program.

Tonight mom invited me over to their house for dinner.  It's so cool, I've been spending so much time with them lately.  I just wish Lisa was there with us too but she's always working.  She's been working so much these last few weeks, only having one day off so it's been tough.  Mom made plans for this coming Tuesday.  She's going to cook a ham and she invited us over again.  She's happy because she'll be off on Tuesday.  So, we're really lookin forward to that.  I'm also going to bring 'Hercules' over.  They were all excited to hear I bought that movie and they wanna watch it so we're gonna do that after dinner on Tuesday as well.  That'll be fun!

Ok well that's pretty much all I've got for today. Lots of words haha :D  Well, it's been a long day so I'm going to just relax and then fall into a deep sleep a lil later!  Thanks for reading.  Goodnight!
