Day One Hundred Thirty Seven

I woke up pretty early today.  I almost didn't do my walk, but I figured, last day of the week, I need to get it in there so I got out there and did my 3 miles.  It was pretty good.  I just took Cooper with me.  Cody was being naughty again, so he got to stay home.

The rest of the day was quite busy.  After my walk, I showered up then we headed to town.  We paid some bills, then went to Sportsmans Warehouse so I could buy some hunting gear that I didn't have.  Pretty good, but we sure spent some serious money.  Afterwards, I took Lisa to the salon and she got a haircut.  Her hair is short now.  Not like boycut or anything, just like shoulder length.  It looks very nice on her!  She had long hair that went down to her lower back, but now it's only shoulder length and she has bangs.  She looks like a different person.  She really likes it too.  I'm glad!  Now we both have haircuts lol.

After she went to work, I was home for a bit, then I headed up town by myself to start grocery shopping for my elk hunt next week.  That crazy walmart was so packed, I hate going there on Friday's.  I didn't get everything I wanted, only a few stuff.  I'll have to head back out tomorrow and get everything else I need.

Well, this will be my last day exercising for the week.  I'm going to rest up the weekend.  Saturday and Sunday, I'm going to take it easy and give my body a good rest because once Monday comes around, I'll be hitting the slopes of Chama and let me tell you, those are some super steep hills.  When I do get an elk also, I'll be packing it out all by myself.  My dad can't lift anything heavy because of his heart surgery.  He's still healing up, as you know.  He still doesn't have his strength back so it's gonna be all me out there but I'm really looking forward to it.  Lots of prestige in this hunt, especially if I get one and get it out of there myself!

Ok, it's getting late and I need to clean up the place before Lisa gets home.  Goodnight!
