Day Two Hundred Ninety Three

Back at it today! Did my 3 miles this morning. I'm walking super fast now and I'm really putting more running in there as well. Oh my gosh, by the time we get home, my legs are burning. I ain't doing no sissy stroll anymore. I'm doing some heavy powerwalking. When we got home, also, I did some weightlifting. I could only do 10 deadlifts today. Oh man, my legs were still tired from two days ago, can you believe that. I did some jump roping also. Lisa did some yoga outside. I can say this, we are really hitting our workouts hard!

Finished my gallon of water today! So proud and I can honestly say that my diet has really kicked into high gear. I've sworn off fast food, unless it's Subway or Arbys sandwiches. I sworn off hamburger. I only eat turkey burgers, salmon, salad, peanuts, water, oatmeal, and vegetables. That's pretty much in my diet now. It varies and I add other stuff in there as well. I'm really getting serious about all of this. I don't want to let myself slip ever again like I did in November and December. Actually, October too. I thought about that today and I feel so bad. Because I dropped the ball, Lisa ended up stopping as well. She's my tail, she does whatever I do and follows me wherever I go. If I stop or slack off, she'll be right behind me doing the same thing. I need to never again let myself slip because I want us both to drop lots more weight and get very healthy, especially her because she's going to be starting nursing school this fall, hopefully. I'd love for her to be in good shape by then.

Well I've got nothing new to report today. Didn't do much, just hung out the rest of the day. We were supposed to go to town this morning and get some dog food, cat food and wood pellets, but we got too comfortable here at home watching movies. I was very tired after our workout this morning anyway. I didn't feel much like getting back out there and walking around. We decided to do it tomorrow! Ok, time for me to get some rest. Goodnight!
